Switching between dark mode and light mode
Stash supports both light and dark mode. You can switch between them at any time from your profile menu. The choice is per-browser, so each browser you use Stash in remembers its own setting.
How to switch
Click your profile picture at the bottom of the sidebar.
In the dropdown, click the Light mode / Dark mode toggle. The label shows the mode you'll switch to, not the one you're currently in — so if you see "Light mode," you're currently in dark.
The theme switches immediately — no page refresh needed.
Click it again any time to switch back.
Good to know
Per-browser preference
Your theme choice is saved in this browser only. If you sign in to Stash from a different browser or device — say, Chrome on your laptop and Safari on your phone — each one remembers its own setting. Switching browsers means setting your theme there too, the first time.
This also means clearing your browser's cookies or using incognito mode resets the theme back to default.
Mobile app
The Stash mobile app has its own theme setting separate from the web. Set your preference once on mobile and it persists for that app install.
Per-user, not per-team
Theme choice is yours alone. Other people in your organization can use whatever theme they like — your setting doesn't affect them, and theirs doesn't affect you.
