Each PO is in one of six statuses — Draft, Ordered, Partially received, Received, Cancelled, Closed. Here's what each one means.

Understanding PO statuses

Receive everything on a PO in one action — inventory updates immediately, the PO is marked Received, and each item gets a transaction record.

Receiving a purchase order (full receive)

Mark which items arrived now and which are still outstanding. The PO stays open so you can receive the rest later.

Receiving a partial shipment

Move a PO from Draft to Ordered to mark it as live in Stash. Sending the actual order email to your supplier is still a separate manual step for now.

Sending a purchase order to a supplier

Create an order to send to a supplier — pick the supplier, add items and quantities, save as draft, then send when ready.
